Workshop for Say Again? We gave this play an outing last year. It has a unique premise and we wanted to see how it fared in front of live audiences. It worked way beyond our expectations, but we still felt there was more to be found. I gave the script another lick and a spit, and we all decided the piece needed a director’s eye, Paul Birch’s eye to be precise. It was a joy having him on board. He found so much more comedy and, equally, so much more depth to the play. Cal, David/Dominic and Tom were superb as well, moving it on to the next level. A brilliant weekend all round and it has inspired us to tour it properly in 2025. If we can raise some funds…!
